before you go.
Do I need an app?+
No app is required for rental. Scan the station’s QR code and rent through your phone’s browser. The JUCY iOS app and Android app are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
Will it work with my phone?+
JUCY’s new 8,000 mAh banks have built-in USB-C and Lightning connectors. Pick the connector that matches your phone. Fast charging depends on the charging standard your device and the power bank both support.
How much charge is 8,000 mAh?+
Smartphones: It provides roughly 1.5 to 2 full charges for an average smartphone (depending on your phone's battery size).
How quickly will my phone charge?+
The new banks have fast charging capability. Actual speed varies with your phone, its battery level, temperature and the supported charging protocol. We’ll publish the supplier’s confirmed wattage and model-specific results once available.
Where do I return a rented bank?+
Use a participating JUCY station with a free return slot. Your rental only ends once the station confirms the bank has docked. The station demo lets you try a return to a different eligible station.
What happens at the £30 cap?+
The hourly total stops at £30. The proposed policy transfers ownership after 24 hours, even if the cap was reached earlier. Before 24 hours, it remains a rental. This policy and the final customer terms must be confirmed before launch.
Can I swap a charger I’ve purchased?+
Yes. Once you’ve purchased your JUCY charger, you can swap it for a fully charged one for £2 anytime at any JUCY own-brand dock. Swaps are subject to charged stock and venue access. This is separate from a normal rental.
Where is JUCY being installed?+
We’re installing across venues and spaces across London and the UK, including hospitality, retail, workspaces and events. The station finder is currently a demo with clearly labelled illustrative venues.
